Location Glasgow Royal Infirmary, Endoscopy Unit

To support effective clinical care by providing an efficient reception service to Patients, General Practitioners, Medical and Nursing Staff. Ensure patient appointments are administered and processed accurately and that patient’s medical records remain confidential, are securely stored and are available as and when necessary. To update systems to show admission, DNA or cancellations by patients are accurate and conducted in a timely manner. To scan all procedure reports onto portal and send copies to GP’s. To ensure smooth running of the reception area at all times. To assist patients, medical & nursing staff with any enquiries. This post would support the existing full time Receptionist, to ensure administrative support to the endoscopy service at all times. Cross site cover may also be required on occasion.

The hours are worked Monday to Friday
