Would you like to be at the forefront of developing mental health clinical pharmacy care to older people with mental health issues? An opportunity has arisen for a pharmacist with a strong commitment to Mental Health practice to join the mental health pharmacy team to support the care of patients within Older Peoples Mental Health services in West Dunbartonshire. The successful candidate will provide care to people within the community mental health team and associated inpatient beds. They will be linked professionally and for peer support to the mental health pharmacy team at Gartnavel Royal Hospital. You will ideally have at least two years clinical experience, preferably in hospital practice and mental health pharmacy. However candidates with a keen interest in mental health and relevant pharmacy experience are also encouraged to apply. You will be registered with the GPhC and be working towards or completed Foundation training. If you do not already have independent prescriber status you will be supported to obtain it. Some travel between sites will be necessary. The successful applicant will participate in the mental health pharmacy on call rota.
