Healthcare Support Worker – Accident and Emergency (REF: 163332)
Fixed-term post until 31/03/2024
Full-time 37.5 hours
Band 3 - Salary range £25,468 - £27,486 per annum
plus Distant Islands Allowance of £2,256 per annum
Are you a Healthcare Support Worker or Nursing/Care Assistant looking for a new challenge and development opportunity? In the accident and emergency department we will strive to give patients an excellent standard of care in an extremely busy environment that is both challenging and rewarding. You will learn many new skills and enable patients to have the best possible standard of care.
You will need to be educated to SVQ2 level in healthcare or have equivalent experience working within a caring environment/role including delivering personal care to patients. Effective written and verbal communication skills, numeracy and an interest in developing your healthcare knowledge including prevention of healthcare associated infections (HAI).
This is a newly funded post which is fixed term until 31/03/24 to support the improvement of Service Delivery. If you wish to apply for this post as a secondment opportunity, you will need to discuss with your line manager before submitting an application.
