Can you help us deliver high quality injectable medicines, on time and in a pleasant and respectful environment?
Our team aseptically prepare over 50,000 injectable medicine doses per year from our large aseptic suite at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow. These items include parenteral nutrition, chemotherapy and clinical trials. We are leading the way in aseptic practice through the use of state of the art technology and providing exceptional training to our staff.
We currently have a team of 36 staff including Support Workers, Technicians and Pharmacists who take great pride in delivering critical medicines across Greater Glasgow & Clyde. We are looking for 2 new enthusiastic Pharmacy Support Workers to join our team.
Your key duties will include assembly and transfer of products for manufacture, environmental monitoring and stock control.
General education, basic numeracy and literacy skills demonstrated by 3 Standard Grade Qualifications or equivalent (which must include English and Maths) are essential. Previous pharmacy experience is preferred. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.
This is a full time post 37.5hrs and will be worked 5/7 days and includes weekend working and participation in the public holiday rotas
