An exciting vacancy has arisen within Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership, Business Support Team.  We are looking to recruit an experienced individual who is motivated, organised and enthusiastic.

The post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination and provision of a comprehensive and efficient Administration and Secretarial Service, supporting ACHSCP AHP services.

This office based position plays a key role within the Business Support Team, providing dedicated support to the AHP clinical team and working closely with the Business Support Management team.  The post holder must have a flexible approach to work, be highly organised, demonstrate good time management skills and possess the ability to adapt to an ever changing environment.

Previous supervisory experience would be highly advantageous, as the successful candidate will be required to provide day to day supervision to clerical and administration staff; delegating workload within the team, and handling sensitive staffing situations with tact and diplomacy.  The post holder will also work closely alongside the Business Support Manager, participating in project work in relation to clinical information systems, administration protocols and future service planning.

Applicants should be self-motivated and able to work in a challenging and busy environment.  The ability to prioritise, multi-task and problem solve are also essential.

This is a challenging and varied role, which will offer considerable job satisfaction to the ideal candidate.  Applicants are asked to use their application to demonstrate their experience in relation to the essential and desirable criteria within the person specification.

The post is offered as a fixed term or secondment for a period of 18 months.  Please note, all secondment requests must be agreed in principle with your line manager, prior to applying.

Interviews are predicted to be held on Wednesday 20th September.
