We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to take on the role of Unit Operational Manager Radiology, NHS Grampian. As the Unit Operational Manager in Radiology, you will be an integral part of our Clinical Support Services (CSS) and Integrated Specialist Care Services Portfolio management team. In this role, you will contribute to setting the strategic direction for healthcare services in NHS Grampian, collaborating closely with other Unit Operational Managers and Health & Social Care Partner colleagues to embed effective whole-system working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Radiology services, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, clinical governance and safety.
- Oversee complex quality improvement programs, driving innovation and excellence.
- Collaborate with health system partners and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Play a vital role in the implementation of the Radiology Capital Development Programme.
- Balance demand management and capacity planning, effectively allocating resources and meeting waiting times delivery timelines.
- Exceptional ability to manage competing priorities and resources effectively.
