Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership (AHSCP) has an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist to be at the forefront of leading, developing and delivering primary care pharmacy services within Aberdeenshire HSCP at a time of considerable change and opportunity for the pharmacy profession. 

You will be jointly responsible, alongside the other Lead Pharmacists, for leading and managing the HSCP team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and support staff including the continuing development and implementation of the GMS Pharmacotherapy service.

You will provide expert clinical and strategic advice on pharmaceutical matters at patient, practice, locality, AHSCP, national and Grampian-wide levels, with the overall aim of ensuring safe, effective and appropriate use of medicines.  
 
All candidates must have a pharmacy degree, be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and have a relevant post-graduate qualification. Candidates must have extensive clinical knowledge and experience and be able to demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills including experience of mentoring/ supervising staff. Experience of working in primary care is essential for this post. The post-holder must be a car owner and driver as there will be a requirement to work from home and across various locations within Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
