Carseview Centre provides recovery focussed inpatient care for people experiencing acute and/or enduring mental health problems across 3 acute admission wards and an Intensive Psychiatric Care Unit ( IPCU). An exciting opportunity has arisen for Healthcare Support Workers to join us and work across our innovative teams.

We are seeking resilient, hard working and conscientious applicants with a positive attitude to join the team, working to deliver the best care experience possible. We are looking for candidates who enjoy working in a challenging environment and are person centred in their approach to work collaboratively with patients as part of the multidisciplinary team.

The core working hours of this post will be 1900-0000 or 2100-0200.

There will be a requirement to attend induction and training out with these hours on commencement of post, as well as for annual updates of training.

This post is part of a Twilight pool of Healthcare Support workers, who will be allocated /and or deployed across all inpatient areas each night. There may also on occasion be a requirement to support the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team, also based within the Carseview Centre.

There will be opportunity to be involved in the development of the service and continue with improvement work being undertaken within Mental Health Services. We have a structured staff review system and are keen to support personal and professional development.
