The Hospital Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (HEPMA) Team has completed system rollout for in-patient areas as outlined in the initial business case. We are now focussed on consolidation of the system benefits to inform the next business case for continued rollout to day case areas and out-patients. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated and innovative pharmacist to lead on this work whilst ensuring ongoing system maintenance. You will gain experience of line management, transformational service changes, electronic prescribing governance and enhanced system access. The post will be based at the HEPMA team’s Royal Edinburgh Hospital office with opportunity for regular home working for duration of secondment. 

Requests for part time working or part time working with existing clinical role could be facilitated.

The post holder must be registered as a Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council and have a post-graduate qualification in clinical pharmacy (Diploma/MSc or equivalent).
