Job Advert

Salary £46244 to £53789 pro rata, adjusted to reflect sessional commitment, experience and banding

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced ANP to join our small, friendly team. We can offer 5 sessions starting from 26th February 2024, but would be prepared to be flexible for the right candidate.

We are a semi-rural practice, with a full complement of medical and administrative staff, and an established team with very low staff turnover. We are based centrally in the town within a purpose-built health centre, and enjoy excellent relationships with wider team members such as our district nursing and health visiting teams. We pride ourselves on our ability to maintain a good work-life balance while providing excellent care to our population of 5600 patients.

Burntisland is a historic coastal town in Fife, within easy commuting distance of both Dundee and Edinburgh. It’s a very short walk from our premises to the beach and the railway station, as well as the high street. Our population is a varied patient demographic with a real sense of community, providing ample opportunities for continuity of care.

EMIS and Docman clinical systems

4 GP partners and 2 practice nurses, with CTAC and pharmacy support

Spacious consulting rooms with parking on site

Highly experienced, loyal administrative team

Training and CPD opportunities

You will ideally be a non-medical prescriber, with experience in assessing, diagnosing and managing acute and minor illness, and independent clinical decision making. Paediatric and mental health experience are desirable but not essential. Training could be provided where necessary.

This is an opportunity to run your own clinics and build your own professional relationships, within a supportive multi-disciplinary team.

To apply for this post formally, or obtain a job description, please provide an up-to-date CV with a covering letter detailing your sessional availability, and either email or post to:

Mrs Rhona Ritchie, Staff/Office Manager, Burntisland Medical Group, 74 Somerville Street, Burntisland, KY3 9DF
