The NHS Fife Pharmacy & Medicines Service serves a population of approximately 380,000 people and is provided by an integrated team of around 300 Pharmacy staff, including Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Support Workers, Nurses, and Administrators. The team works across Acute and Community hospital sites, General Practices, Mental Health services, and a range of specialist teams. Partnership working is at the core of our values, and we work closely with other members of the multi-disciplinary team, including our Community Pharmacy colleagues, to deliver the highest quality care for everyone in Fife.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced pharmacy technician registered with the GPhC with proven post qualification experience to join our pharmacy team.

You will be responsible for the operational management and development of the Pharmacy Procurement and Homecare Services. While the successful candidate will be predominantly based at the Victoria Hospital Pharmacy, cross working across sites may be required. 

You must be be able to work independently or as part of the pharmacy team.  You will be an excellent communicator who has the ability to build good relationships with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.   Ideally you should have experience of procurement and homecare services, stock management and preferably experience of managing staff.
