This is 24 month fixed term post.

Glasgow Clinical Research Facility (GCRF) incorporates Clinical Research Facilities at QEUH, the GRI and Children’s Clinical Research Facility at QEUH. Jointly they provide a streamlined service to investigators to conduct their clinical research efficiently and safely. We are recruiting an enthusiastic Project Site Manager to take responsibility for the site setup and delivery coordination of high volume complex studies within set timescales. The applicant should be educated to degree level, or equivalent, with experience in clinical research and an understanding of research regulations and frameworks. The post holder will work closely with the Quality Assurance Lead to support rapid set up, amendment/document management and large participant number appointment coordination. The post holder will be supported to maintain professional registration where appropriate.

Minimum requirements:

 · First level degree with significant, current and relevant clinical research experience. · Knowledge of current research regulatory frameworks, approval processes and governance requirements.

· Ability to deliver against targets and within agreed timelines.

 · Ability to respond to competing demands and unplanned requests for information.

 · Experience of working autonomously within a multi-disciplinary team.

 · Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload across studies in NHS GGC

.· Ability to deliver presentations to multi-disciplinary groups.

 · Extensive IT skills, able to use Microsoft office, Microsoft Teams, web based applications and experience of using databases.

Shift Pattern is worked Monday to Friday 8.30-16.30
