What you will do:

Working within the integrated Adult Community Mental Health Service in North Ayrshire you will provide occupational therapy assessment and treatment to people with complex needs who are living in the community and those discharged from hospital. As part of a developing service that is supporting new pathway working across disciplines you will also be involved in the supervision of junior colleagues and students within a programme of inter-disciplinary training. You will be supported to further develop leadership skills and will be responsible for specific aspects of service delivery in line with the occupational therapy and integrated service remit.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

With a Diploma / Degree in Occupational Therapy and as a State Registered Occupational Therapist with the HCPC, you will be an experienced practitioner and be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of Occupational Therapy, through CPD Post Graduate training, with evidence of additional knowledge and experience. 

You will have a varied range of clinical experience and the ability to demonstrate good clinical reasoning and effective caseload management with experience of and evidence of commitment to multidisciplinary team working.
