Looking to get some lived experience of communications and engagement in a fast-paced environment? Do you thrive under pressure, manage a varied workload and have the ability to anticipate and plan ahead?

Do you have relevant experience as a communications professional or other related discipline, covering the range of communications services including planning, media relations, public relations and publications?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Communications and Engagement team as Communications Officer on a permanent basis.

You will operate within the values framework to deliver efficient and effective communications support to NHS Borders, in line with the agreed Communications and Engagement Strategy. You will work as part of a small, focussed team and initiate and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of staff across NHS Borders, the media, service users and other stakeholders. 

You will be required to work on projects that have implications across the full range of NHS Borders services, patients, service users and partners.
