Highland Health and Social Care Services help people from all walks of life, as well as their families or carers and provide help and assistance in many situations arising due to illness, disability, old age or poverty.

Pulteney House Care Home are looking to recruit a Catering Assistant / Cook. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicated kitchen staff following a six week menu plan

and the duties include preparation, cooking and serving of a wide range of nutritious meals and snacks, including therapeutic diets for residents in the care home ensuring the products are aesthetically presented and that they follow menu choices, dietary requirements and correct portion sizes at all times

Applicants should have experience in working with people in a care setting.

The successful candidate must have the ability and be willing to undertake any relevant training.

This is a permanent post of 25.75 hours following a three week rota  and the working hours are 9.00 - 4.45 with the occasional early finish at 3pm. 

There is weekend working for which the successful applicant will be paid 44% enhancement for Saturday working and 88% enhancement for Sunday working.  Public holidays are paid at double time.
