Relief Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Band 7 - £46,244 to £ 53,789 per annum

Plus £1,279 Distant Islands Allowance per annum

37.5  Hours per Week

Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Relief Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work alongside teams in the Emergency Department, Acute Assessment Unit, Hospital at Home, Urgent and Unscheduled Care and the High Dependency Unit whilst primarily being based within the CSN team at Western Isles Hospital.

The post holder will provide support, supervision and teaching to junior medical staff, undergraduate medical students, trainee Advanced Nurse Practitioner and provide advanced clinical assessment skills within AAU.

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner  who will have:

*   The ability to demonstrate clinical excellence in nursing practice.

*   The ability to facilitate and manage change within the clinical environment.

*   Commitment to the delivery of evidence-based care.

*   Be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with a flexible team orientated approach.

*   Provide nursing leadership and expertise and contribute to the education, training and support of fellow health professionals.

*   Provide clinical and operational support to the CSN team, ED, AAU, H@H and U+USC teams

Applicants must have completed or be working towards an MSC in Advanced Practice and have extensive experience across acute settings.

This post will predominately work Monday to Friday but may be asked to work unsocial hours due to service demands.
