An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and driven individual to join our existing team as Staff Care Psychological Practitioner.

You will work as a key member of our Occupational Health team providing an independent and confidential psychological support service to employees of NHS Golden Jubilee at a time of growth.

The role will involve implementing delivery of internal psychological support services for staff: one to one counselling that is evidence based and includes low intensity interventions, specific group training aligned with our wellbeing agenda including Psychological First Aid & Mental Health First Aid. Actively raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing in the organisation.

The successful candidate will have a recognised post graduate qualification in psychological therapies e.g. counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy and be an accredited or have evidence of working towards an accrediation recognised by a national professional body i.e. COSCA or BACP

You will also have significant practical experience, excellent communication including spoken and written language skills as well as sensitivity abilities. You should have excellent organisational skills together with a positive approach and the ability to work effectively within a small but busy team whilst adapting to the diverse and variable demands on our service.

Part Time hours may be considered.
