What you will do:

Working within in the Orthopaedic Trauma Unit at University Hospital Crosshouse you will ensure the delivery of a high standard of unscheduled care to our patients in Ayrshire.  You will demonstrate a keen interest in the care of orthopaedic trauma patients and as a Health Care Support Worker, you will integrate into the Trauma and Orthopaedic multidisciplinary team.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

With an SVQ3 in Healthcare related subject and / or equivalent knowledge gained in a relevant area through experience, on the job training and/or short courses or appropriate competency to undertake role, you will have excellent communication and organisational skills that can excel in a highly pressured environment in order to collaborate with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, ensuring the patient journey is positive and safe and care is delivered in a manner which is both professional and person centred.

Hours:

2 x 37.5 hours per week 

3 x 34.5 hours per week
