Occupational Therapy Health Care Support Worker (Band 3)
 Aberdeenshire HSCP - Central Aberdeenshire Community Learning Disability Team 
15hrs per week - Fixed Term until March 2024
(Secondment possible with agreement from Line Manager)


This is an exciting opportunity to become a member of the Community Learning Disability Team based in Inverurie – covering Central Aberdeenshire. Our community based service engages with adults with Learning Disabilities in a variety of settings; day centres, supported living accommodation, individual homes and wider community settings. 


We are looking for a resourceful and reliable individual with an interest in Learning Disabilities.  With OT colleagues and in conjunction with other members of the multi-disciplinary team, the successful applicant will meet the occupational needs of adults with Learning Disabilities.


Effective communication, organisational and time management skills are essential as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A full driving licence and access to a car is essential.


Regular supervision and support will be provided as will the opportunity to self-develop through the use of an annual appraisal and a personal development plan.
