Fixed term / Secondment until 31/03/2024

£27,598 - £30,019 (Band 4)

Glasgow / Edinburgh - Hybrid working will apply for the foreseeable future

We are seeking to appoint two Administrative Officers to the Evidence Directorate: to support the development of a portfolio of standards and indicators and to support the delivery of SIGN's programme of guideline development. As an experienced administrator, you will provide full administrative support to multiple projects that vary in subject matter, complexity and duration, including organising meetings/events, diary management, minute taking, arranging travel and accommodation, processing invoices, co-ordinating and maintaining web pages and liaising with senior managers, health and social care professionals and other colleagues from across NHS Scotland.

Your role will primarily support either the Standards and Indicators team or SIGN team, however, as an administrative officer for the Evidence Directorate you will be required to provide cross-directorate support. and will be expected to use in-house systems to process information (for example raise purchase orders).

The successful candidate should be educated to HNC level or have demonstrable equivalent experience in administration. Possessing sound communication skills with good attention to detail, you will already have gained sufficient experience in a similar role and adopt a flexible approach to resolve issues proactively. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills are essential, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and web-based content management systems.

If you are keen to apply your existing administrative project skills to help us continually drive improvement in the quality of healthcare for all people in Scotland, we would welcome your application form.
