A vacancy has arisen for a qualified specialist practitioner within the District nursing service in Falkirk Community Health Partnership.

This is a permanent band 6 post as per Agenda for change and the contracted hours are 15 Hours per week. Weekend working and variable shift pattern is required on a flexible rotational basis.

The post holder will have a District Nursing qualification (degree or diploma) and have relevant experience within community nursing.

It is desirable that you have some experience in leading/ managing a team and also in caseload management. You must be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate an ability to work with different professional groups. It is desirable that the successful applicant be able to demonstrate an interest in quality improvement work and change management. You should also have a good awareness of national policies and a willingness to take an active lead in the implementation of these policies locally.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
