An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, experienced, highly motivated, dynamic forward thinking registered nurse with an interest in positively enhancing the learning environment and practice learning experiences by participating in education and development activities for Practice Supervisors and Practice across NHS Borders, to enhance the learning experience of student nurses on practice placements.
Based in Clinical & Professional Development, you will also have the opportunity to;
- Support newly qualified nurses and midwives through the Flying Start programme/Newly qualified Programme.
- Enhance the quality of the learning environment by supporting the education and development needs of staff to effectively support students within this setting.
- Contribute to quality of care provided for people across NHS Borders through sign posting practice learning opportunities for nurses and support staff.
- Support the development of both new and experienced supervisors and assessors and those in wider practice education support roles.
