Specialist MSK Physiotherapist

Band 6 Permanent Post


An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide specialist physiotherapy intervention in our out-patient departments based between Ninewells Hospital and Kings Cross Health & Community Care Centre.

This post provides the opportunity to develop a wide range of outpatient skills and supervisory experience.  The postholder will participate in the Specialist MSK rotations - general MSK OP, Rheumatology, Orthopaedic Fracture Clinic, Pain Service, Pelvic & Obstetric Health and Hand Therapy services.

Ongoing personal and professional development is essential to provide a quality service and is supported through regular CPD workshops, appraisals, in-service training and involvement within local clinical governance activities. Our clinicians are supported in developing the skills required to deliver quality care to our patients. 

The Physiotherapy Departments are have strong links to Universities providing student placements primarily from Edinburgh and Aberdeen. The Physiotherapy service in Tayside are dedicated to deliver the best service possible through expanding skills and knowledge, streamlining service and providing the best in patient care.
