We are seeking to recruit a permanent Psychological Therapist within NHS Forth Valley’s Psychological Therapies Service. The service has received considerable recent investment, and currently employs Nurse therapists, Clinical Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists and Clinical Associates in Applied Psychology.
This post presents an exciting opportunity to be part of a developing multidisciplinary psychological therapies service, as well as having strong links with appropriate professional structures within the wider service. The post holder will provide direct psychological assessment and intervention to adults with a wide range of presenting problems.
Candidates must possess a Mental Health Qualification (e.g.RMN, MHO,AHP, CAAP) as well as being trained in at least two high intensity, evidence-based psychological interventions e.g. CBT, TF-CBT, IPT, EMDR, Schema therapy. Experience of working with people who have experienced trauma would be essential in this role. Group work experience would also be beneficial.
