WARD 2A: Have you ever considered a career in acute stroke, and stroke/medicine for the elderly rehabilitation nursing?  Would you like to join an established and dynamic team of nurses who are passionate about giving the best care possible to each patient in our 30 bedded ward?

WARD 2C: is a busy 28 bed medicine for the elderly unit, offering acute care and comprehensive multi-disciplinary team Assessment & care planning for frail elderly patients .

Our ward offers staff the opportunity to work as part of a close, well supported team, with close liaison with patients, carers and their families .

We specialise in care for patients with Parkinson’s disease , delirium & dementia , frailty and empowering patients to maximise independence , and also in providing high quality end of life care .

Ward 6C is now recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated Staff Nurse to join their friendly and supportive nursing team.  Working in a 30 bedded ward that specialises in cardiology, endocrine, diabetes and general medicine, the successful candidate will be passionate about providing patients with the highest standards of care,  ideally have an interest in healthcare innovation, and be someone who is inspired to drive through changes in Daily Dynamic Discharge and patient flow.

Experience of working in a cardiology / general medicine ward would be advantageous, however Ward 6C offers many learning experiences for newly qualified or experienced nurses alike and interested applicants are encouraged to make contact with the ward to find out more about the work of the team.

Ward 5A General Medical comprises of a 14 bedded low acuity area specialising in patients that have recovered from an acute illness/condition and are requiring rehabilitation or transition to an ongoing care environment. This ward is a shared space with haematology/oncology specialities. We have various full and part time band 5 posts available. Ward GC: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse to join our team within the Infectious Diseases Unit, Ward GC at Raigmore Hospital. We are looking for a motivated, caring and compassionate nurse who is able to work well under pressure, who either has experience working in an Infectious Diseases Unit or is looking to gain experience and develop a career within a specialised clinical environment. The Infectious Diseases Unit is a 15 bed unit that cares for a wide ranch of patients and infections. Successful candidates will provide expert advice on the nursing management of patients with a known or suspected infection and deliver highly specialised care. You should be able to work well as part of a large and diverse multidisciplinary team including our Infection Control Team, OPAT and tissue Viability teams to name a few. Candidates should have excellent care values and a strong sense of team spirit coupled with a sense of humour. Candidates should have enthusiasm to work, learn and develop yourself and colleagues within the exciting and challenging high pressure environment.

7A:  is a 29 bed inpatient respiratory unit who care for patients with varying types of acute and chronic illness.  We strive to provide an excellent standard of care with a person-centred approach. We are a fast paced, busy medical ward with a team that thrive on enthusiasm and positivity.  We provide excellent learning opportunities in the management of respiratory failure, chest drains and ventilation, to name a few.  We prioritise staff well being and ensure our team are well supported as they learn and develop in a busy, acute setting.  Our philosophy is centred upon excellent teamwork, high quality patient care and promoting a positive working and healing environment.

7C is looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Staff Nurse who has an interest in, or a desire to learn more about, Renal and GI nursing.  We are a 34 bedded acute medical ward which focuses on delivering specialist care to patients with a wide variety of interesting conditions.  There is a strong focus on team work and positivity within the ward and a close working relationship with AHPs, specialist nurses, dieticians, endoscopy and the renal unit, thus ensuring a varied and interesting working environment.
