Commensurate with existing salary

Part-time (7.5 hrs per week - 0.2 WTE)

Secondment until March 2025 

Glasgow/Edinburgh (other locations throughout Scotland would be considered) - Hybrid working will apply for the foreseeable future

An excellent opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and positive individual to be part of the delivery of an innovative programme to support the work of the Nursing and Systems Improvement Directorate within Healthcare Improvement Scotland. This role will provide professional input and advice to inform our work to implement and deliver CTAC services across Healthcare Improvement Scotland’s primary care programmes.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a national programme supporting the ongoing implementation and delivery of CTAC services. You will support the strategic and operational development and delivery of the national CTAC network and provide expert advice and guidance to ensure the network’s focus is aligned to national and local priorities.

You will be a senior professional leader in the NHS or a health and social care partnership. Educated to Masters degree-level or with equivalent experience, you will have experience and knowledge of designing and implementing CTAC services, and specialist knowledge of tools and methodology associated with healthcare improvement.

Travel throughout Scotland will be required for this role (including overnight stays).

The successful candidate will form part of the Primary Care Quality Improvement Faculty, which comprises a range of primary care clinicians and professionals. Faculty members support the design, development, and delivery of our improvement programmes.
