NHS Scotland is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination. The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best. To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.

We are seeking to recruit experienced and enthusiastic Band 6 radiographers to join the Radiography Bank in Argyll and Bute, to help cover weekday, overnight and weekend duties at several sites across the region.

Accommodation is available at all sites when required.

We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced Specialist Radiographers to join our radiography bank and small friendly team. You will be supported by a team of radiographers/ CT radiographer colleagues and by two Radiologists.

The Radiology Department at Lorn and Islands Hospital provides a 24/7 service, undertakes CT, interventional, fluoroscopy and ultrasound examinations together with general radiography work including A+E work.

The community sites in Lochgilphead, Campbeltown and Dunoon, and the community sites on the isles of Islay, Bute and Mull provide general and A/E radiography (including mobiles) with dental radiography also provided at some sites.

We support and encourage CPD and role development and our ideal candidate would be someone who is forward thinking and committed to service improvement and who would welcome the opportunity to work innovatively, within a small dynamic team.

If you are interested working in this beautiful rural area and trying out a more stress-free existence away from urban life, then this is your opportunity.
