We are looking for a Band 4 Support Worker to join our engaging and friendly team of Occupational Therapists based within Pitlochry Community Hospital.
You will provide a supportive role to your Occupational Therapy colleagues who work in Pitlochry Community Hospital to deliver inpatient services and community based rehabilitation.
You will work with patients on the wards, providing them with assessment and rehabilitation, alongside our multidisciplinary teams. You will assist in the day to day functions of the department and will undertake some administrative and housekeeping duties as required. You must have an understanding of the role of Occupational Therapy and have experience of working in a health or social care setting.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
Perth and Kinross Occupational Therapy Service is committed to continued personal development through our clinical networks and a structured system of competencies/training and review is in place for support staff.
