DENTOFACIAL LABORATORY
MAXILLOFACIAL PROSTHETIST & TECHNOLOGIST

Would you like to join a forward thinking and enthusiastic specialist Dental team based at Raigmore Hospital in the beautiful city of Inverness.
We are looking for a suitably trained, registered and experienced Maxillofacial Prosthetist to be responsible for the management of a highly specialist Clinical Technical / Maxillofacial Prosthetic service for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Restorative Dentistry and Orthodontics.
The post holder is required to manage and provide technical and advisory services to patients for their rehabilitation using implants, splints and prostheses within key areas of craniofacial reconstruction, following head and neck malignancies. Occasional support may be sought by other specialities as required (ENT, Ophthalmic Surgery, and Plastic Surgery).
Post holder is also expected to be able to construct full range of Orthodontic appliances for the correction of malocclusions of teeth and dento-facial deformities. It is also expected for the post holder to have experience in Splint Therapy, Sleep Apnoea and post-operative appliances. You will be required to participate in research, development and internal / national audit activity programmes on a regular basis.
