The Post/Candidate:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to lead information governance compliance within our Information Security and Governance business unit, whilst being part of the corporate Information Governance team.   As an integral part of the Information Security and Governance team, the Information Governance Manager will manage data protection compliance, records management compliance, the Information Asset Register, and the Freedom of Information regime for Digital and Security Services. They will also provide subject matter expertise advise, direction and leadership to all SBU Directors and their teams.  
You should be educated to degree level with an appropriate postgraduate qualification or equivalent with evidence of continuing professional development.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Disclosure Scotland check. Any candidate who has lived/worked overseas for more than 12 months in the preceding 5 years will also be required to provide a criminal record check from the appropriate overseas agency.

Location and Working Pattern:

The location for this role is Gyle Square, Edinburgh

Currently hybrid working.

The work pattern is Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
