The Fife Area-Wide Psychology Service is a large well-provided service including clinical and health specialties, with extensive involvement in training, research and service development. Close links with Edinburgh, Stirling, Dundee and St. Andrews Universities’ D. Clin. Psych and MSc courses continue and your professional development, CPD and research initiatives will be well supported.
You should have a good honours degree in Psychology with eligibility for graduate basis registration with British Psychological Society and also the ability to travel during the working day.
This post will support the work of psychologists working with the Learning Disability Service, which is a lifespan service across community, inpatient and forensic settings. You will be working under the supervision of one or more clinical psychologists, and will be providing assistance on specific clinical, research, evaluation, audit, literature searches, and other routine work of the department.
The post is based at our psychology base at Lynebank Hospital, Dunfermline or our psychology base at Stratheden Hospital, Cupar. Please note that some of the work will be carried out throughout Fife.
