An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Urgent Care Services Fife (UCSF).
Experienced registered General Medical Practitioners are required for Urgent Care Services Fife. The Service provides care in the out of hour’s period within 3 Centres across Fife and also via our Home Visiting Service.
This is an exciting time to join our Out of Hours Service as we progress through the implementation of our Urgent Care Review.
These are full-time posts, considered to be 40 hours per week, however part-time working / job share would also be considered. Due to the nature of the Service working time will be in the out of hours (OOH) period, including overnight shifts from 12 midnight to 8am and public holidays. To fit the requirements of the Service and with the agreement of the post-holder there may be an opportunity of additional shifts up to a maximum of 48 hours per week.
Applicants should hold full registration with the GMC and be registered on the GMC General practice register with a CCT in Primary Care. You should have an interest in OOH work and the flexibility to work across bases. The ability to work under own initiative without direct supervision. You will be a strong team player and flexible in your approach to support other members of the multi-disciplinary team. Relevant professional development and appraisal support would be provided as appropriate.
