Public Protection Lead Nurse (Ref: 167018)

Full Time – 30 hours per week
Band 7 - Salary Range £46,244 - £53,789 per annum (pro rata)
Distant Island Allowance of £2,256 per annum (pro rata)
Relocation Assistance of up to £8000 available
We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and motivated individual to join us as our Public Protection Lead Nurse. You will be strategic in nature, but work operationally with professionals and Partner organisations to deliver a comprehensive safeguarding function.
You will be expected to create an environment of continuous quality improvement by ensuring robust systems, policies and standards are in place to ensure the protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults in Shetland in partnership with the Public Protection Committee.
You will provide expert knowledge and advice to a range of professional groups, working together across all agencies involved in Public Protection, including supporting health care staff with the delivery of our statutory requirements.
