An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 6 Occupational Therapist to join an established Intermediate Care Team within the Rehabilitation Service.  The Rehabilitation service responds to referrals from a range of areas which include; Acute, Community,  and Specialist Services.  Within the Rehabilitation Service the post holder will provide expert specialist, patient assessment, clinical intervention and planned discharge for adults with complex rehabilitation needs.  The post holder will work as an effective and efficient partner in the interdisciplinary team, incorporating extended role competencies. In addition to the professional clinical role, will participate in case co-ordination, health promotion, audit projects, staff / student supervision / induction.  Post graduate level experience within any or all of the following areas:  Adult Rehabilitation, Neurology, Orthopaedics, Respiratory, Medicine or Care of the Elderly Specialties is desirable.  A current full driving license is required
