The shift pattern for this position is Days, Nights, Weekends, Public Holidays.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Paediatric Haematology/Oncology unit.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, motivated and skilled paediatric registered nurse to join us. The successful candidate must be SACT trained and competent, demonstrating an awareness of treatment protocols in order to be able to lead the team in providing excellent evidence based care for this patient group. You will provide senior cover in the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse, coordinating all aspects of the clinical environment.
Ward 2A (Schiehallion) provides a regional service for the treatment of childhood leukaemias as well as a range of other malignant and non-malignant hematological and oncological conditions. We are the paediatric Haematology and Oncology reference centre for the West of Scotland. Furthermore, we provide a national service for Paediatric Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant and host the Scottish Paediatric Molecular Radiotherapy service.
