An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker within the Aberdeen City HSCP Hospital @ Home (H@H) team based on Woodend Hospital site. H@H provides hospital level acute medical care within patients own homes, over 7 days per week. The service is currently trialling 12 hour shifts, (working from 8am until 8.15pm,) as part of our ambition to become a 24/7 service, however working 8am – 6pm shifts may also be possible.

We would also consider applications from candidates who would wish to work part time – please enter your preferred working hours within your application. If you are short-listed for interview part time hours can be discussed then.

We are looking for a motivated team member, educated to SVQ level 3 (or actively working towards this) to provide a high level of care to our patients in their own home environment.

Previous recent experience within an acute setting and with frailty patients would be desirable but training will be offered to the successful candidate.

You must hold a full UK Driving Licence and have access to a car for work purposes.

The post is fixed term for one year due to ring-fenced funding, however it may be extended beyond this. If you are currently employed by the NHS on a permanent contract, you must have a discussion with your manager and have a secondment agreed in principal before submitting your application. Please include this within your application.

Please note that in the event that sufficient applications are received before the closing date, this post may close early
