The shift pattern for this position is 09:00 – 17:00.

This is an exciting opportunity to come and join the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Secretariat Team, to deliver exemplar support to our Health Board.   NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is the biggest Health Board in Scotland and the role will be varying, and exciting, as a result.

This is an excellent position for an ambitious, innovative and driven individual as the role offers the rare opportunity of working closely with the Senior Management Team at Board Headquarters, as well as being exposed to the wider Board business.

The post holder will be responsible for line managing a team of Secretariat Officers and is responsible for directing and managing the provision of  the Secretariat function across for the NHS Board, Sub-committees, Advisory Committees and a  number of other for a supporting the running of the Board

The role requires the post holder to manage the day-to-day operational activity of the secretariat function, to ensure compliance with Board policies, procedures and protocols and legislative requirements.

It is essential that the post holder has previous experience in line management and secretariat support, including experience of producing high level minutes. The post holder must also have excellent communication skills, the ability to organise and forward plan as well as demonstrate the ability to build good working relationships with senior colleagues.
