Are you looking for a new leadership challenge? Then this is an exciting development opportunity for an experienced Dietitian to join NHS Tayside’s Nutrition & Dietetic Service as one of four service leads working within a Collective Leadership Framework.
The purpose of the NHS Tayside Nutrition & Dietetic Service is to help maximise the nutritional wellbeing of the population of Tayside, and thereby prevent nutrition related disease and minimise its consequences, prolong valued life and reduce health inequalities.
Leadership is provided via Service Leads posts with remits for Acute and Community Paediatric Services, In-Patient Services (adult), Community Services and Community Food and Health & Weight Management Services. This post is the Acute and Community Paediatric Services, which also holds a clinical leadership role for paediatrics.
The post-holder will require excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills along with the ability to establish personal credibility and influence and affect change.
There is currently a team of around 81 WTE staff who work to provide a nutrition and dietetic service across all geographical areas/population groups within Tayside.
