An exciting opportunity exists to join our pharmacy team at NHS Borders. Your role will involve ongoing delivery and development of the first regional medicines formulary within NHS Scotland across NHS Borders, NHS Lothian and NHS Fife.
You will be an experienced practitioner with a necessary level of therapeutic knowledge and diverse experience to work within this role. Good team working and interpersonal skills are essential along with the ability to provide professional leadership to take forward service development locally and regionally and support response of the service to the changing, and challenging, healthcare environment.
There will be a clinical commitment within this job role that can be based upon previous experience and that will also provide opportunity for development.
We are looking for an experienced pharmacist with a post-graduate diploma/MSc or equivalent experience and ideally an Independent Prescriber qualification, or willing to work towards this.
