NHS Lanarkshire invites applications for a Consultant Diagnostic Radiologist posts to join our respective teams at University Hospital Wishaw and Monklands.

The job is offered as a full-time post on a 10 PA basis (including up to 2 non-DCC) but applications will be considered from those wishing to work less than full-time. If full-time, up to 2 EPA’s may be available to undertake additional clinical activity.

Some sessions may be completed at the other sites within NHS Lanarkshire by mutual agreement at Job Planning depending upon subspecialty interest and clinical requirements of the service.

The successful applicants will contribute to an evening (until 6pm) and weekend daytime on call for CT, general USS and plain films. Outside these hours the on-call is outsourced with a “second-on” on-call rota of local radiologists maintained in case of IT issues.

Though these are general radiology posts, we seek applicants with subspecialty interests in MSK and/or Colorectal radiology and Uroradiology. An interest in performing general image guided procedures would also be most welcome.

The successful applicant would be welcomed into the pan-Lanarkshire service but by being site based, you will join a very supportive team of friendly hard working colleagues who work closely to deliver care to the patients of North and South Lanarkshire.
