We are looking for a suitably qualified Occupational Therapist to work as part of the Bute Extended Community Care Team.  This is an opportunity to combine health and social work OT skills in a fully integrated OT service. 

The successful candidate should have an honours degree or equivalent in Occupational therapy. A knowledge and skill base of equipment/ adaptation provision, community and rehabilitation assessment would be an advantage.

A car driver with valid driver’s licence is essential.

The post holder will be based in Bute.  Bute is a locality within Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership. There is a community hospital in Rothesay with all the associated community services and close partnership working with external agencies.

The occupational therapy team is a small friendly team committed to staff development and training.

Consideration will be given to flexible approach to working hours, as well as part time consideration.
This post is suitable for a band 5 or 6 depending on relevant experience. Consideration for a development post from Band 5 into Band 6 is also available.
