An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Early Years Support Worker to join the Children & Families Service, working with the Health Visitor teams in Angus to support the health and wellbeing of children and families within the locality. 

NHS Tayside is committed to improving the life chances and opportunities for children. We work closely with our partners in health, multi-agency partners and voluntary services. As an Early Years Worker within our service you will be working with a diverse community to deliver early interventions strategies for pre-school children.

We are seeking experienced individuals to apply who hold a NNEB qualification, Diploma in Childcare and Education or NVQ Child Care Level 3 Qualification.

You should have sound knowledge of child development and learning through play activities and have previous experience of working with children.

You should be willing and able to travel across the locality and owning a car would be desirable.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.  

You will gain a varied experience working in Tayside including opportunities to develop your early years practice within urban and / or rural areas. All Early Years Support Workers will be trained in The Solihull Approach, we encourage and support ongoing CPD for Early Years Support Workers and provide individual learning logs for practitioners.
