An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Nurse to join the Pre-Assessment Service at Stracathro National Treatment Centre. The successful applicant must have the ability and commitment to work as part of a small team and manage their own caseload.
Additional training and support will be given if required, as you will be dealing with patients from multiple surgical specialties, however applicants must have completed or have proven ability to complete the Clinical Assessment Skills Module SCQF Level – 11. Applications are invited from individuals who would enjoy the challenge of this progressive service. Applicants should have an interest in the surgical patient, and will be supported by Senior Anesthetist, experienced Pre-Assessment Nurses and the wider multi-disciplinary team within the SRTC. The successful candidate will require the following skills - interpretation of Vital Signs, Blood Results & ECGs.

Hours of work are: 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday), however may include a range of shift patterns including weekdays, evenings and weekends if required.
