An exciting development opportunity has arisen for the role of Senior Contracts & Procurement Administrator within the eHealth Contracts & Procurement Team.
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is the largest healthcare provider in Scotland, serving a population of approximately 1.3m, through the provision of a comprehensive range of Acute, Mental Health and Community Care services. The role offers a unique and rewarding career, working closely with various Healthcare professionals you will be responsible for supporting, monitoring, managing, and improving eHealth Procurement and Contract Management throughout NHSGG&C. Responsible for procuring and establishing consolidated goods and services, identifying potential financial savings through economies of scale and achieving best value for money contracts while adhering to SFIs and procurement law. Management of 3rd Party Supplier relationships is integral to the role. The Department is responsible for all procurement and contract management activities related to IT equipment, software and services. The post involves working across all clinical specialties as well as with other NHS Scotland Boards and other key internal and external stakeholders.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate good experience and understanding of a Purchasing, Contracting and Procurement environment.
NHSGGC has an ambitious 2023-2028 Digital Strategy (LINK) and the Contracts and Procurement team is pivotal to supporting the delivery of transformational change. Services are continually evolving as technology develops and new pathways emerge therefore the post holder will need to be agile and dynamic in managing change while maintaining a patient centred focus.
You should be qualified to HND level with specific IT content, Procurement, Contract Management or equivalent professional qualification or have proven comparable knowledge via experience.
