We are currently seeking to recruit a registered nurse to join our outpatient service. The outpatient department is a dynamic, diverse environment and plays an important role in the delivery of care across the South Sector. The post will be based at the New Victoria Hospital. You will work within the nursing and multidisciplinary team to ensure a high standard of care is delivered to patients within a wide range of specialties including ENT, Dermatology, Gynecology, Medical, Oncology, Surgical, Renal and Urology. You will competently perform the necessary technical, invasive and physical aspects of care and treatment for patients within both consultant and nurse led clinics. It is essential you are a first level registered nurse with excellent communication and organisational skills and show clear evidence of continuing professional development. Experience in outpatient nursing and working within nurse led clinics is desirable as is experience within the specialties mentioned above. There may be a requirement to work flexibly to support the service and, if necessary, you will be expected to engage in multi-site working within the South Sector in order to ensure the provision of the service. Shift patterns will vary potentially over 5 days. This post requires PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check
