An opportunity has arisen for a friendly and reliable individual to take on the role of Medical Secretary to the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service.
CAMHS is a multi-disciplinary service which includes Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Primary Mental Health Workers, Mental Health Nursing including CURT, ITS, Clinical Psychology, Child Psychotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Systemic Psychotherapy, Art Therapy and Social Work. CAMHS is supported by Secretarial and Clerical staff. The multi-disciplinary teams work throughout Fife to meet the needs of children and young people with complex mental health difficulties.
The Medical Secretary will be responsible for delivering a robust and efficient administration and secretarial support to areas as described above.
Candidates should be educated to equivalent of Standard Grade or have relevant experience. Good communication, excellent organisation, numerical and listening skills are essential. You will also have the ability to work as a member of a team or on your own initiative with minimal supervision. You must be computer literate, excellent typing skills and previous secretarial experience is essential, including audio typing / digital dictation and minute-taking. Knowledge and experience of Patient Administration Systems would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
Flexibility to provide cover holiday / illness may be required.
