The shift pattern for this position is 37.5hrs worked 5/7 includes weekend working and public holidays.

NHS GGC  Pharmacy Services, Preparative Services are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team at the West of Scotland Cancer Centre .The Pharmacy department is housed in the West Of Scotland Cancer Centre and provides chemotherapy to patients in the north of the city of Glasgow and supports the West of Scotland cancer network

The pharmacy department provides aseptic services and dispensary services; pre-filled chemotherapy and this post will rotate between these sections.

You will have Professional Development Award (PDA) in Pharmacy Services at SCQF Level 7 and Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) in Pharmacy Services at SCQF Level 8 or equivalent (SVQ level 3 or NVQ level 3 qualifications) and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Sciences.

An accredited accuracy checking qualification is desirable, those without this will be expected to undertake this qualification once in post.

This post is full time 37.5hrs and will be worked 5/7 and includes weekend working and participation on public holidays.
