This post is part of the Commissioning, Contracts and Compliance Team within the Adult Social Care Directorate, which has responsibility for the commissioning and procurement of adult social care services, in compliance with regulatory requirements.

The commissioning and delivery of these services (such as care home, care at home, support, day and respite care services) are a critical part of the whole health and social care system and key to supporting the overall aims of the Highland Health and Social Care Partnership to support people and communities in Highland to live healthy lives and to achieve their potential and choice to live independently where possible.

The post holder will have a key role in ensuring the required contractual processes and documentation is in place for the commissioning of adult social care services, and for supporting the monitoring and strategic commissioning of these services.

Applicants must have strong administrative, analytical and project management skills, an HND level qualification in a relevant subject or substantial relevant experience.  Applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently and part of a greater team.
