This is a full time permanent post. Shift pattern:  08.30 – 16.30, 5 over 7.

Within South Sector the AHP teams work together supporting each other to ensure we produce high quality care for our patients. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 physiotherapist to join the Older Peoples Services AHP team on a full time permanent basis.

It is essential that you are educated to Diploma/Degree level in physiotherapy while being registered with HCPC. You should have significant post graduate experience with previous relevant clinical experience. This post involves a complex and varied caseload incorporating patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge planning.

The post holder:

  • will be clinically responsible for rotational staff, support worker staff and students, inducting, training and managing staff on a daily basis.
  • will lead/participate in service development and service change within the team.
  • will be actively encouraged to develop through your 4 pillars of practice while participating in CPD, audit and research.
