Senior Pharmacy Technician – HEPMA

Band 5, 37.5 hours/week, Permanent
£30,229 - £37,664 (on call, weekend and public holiday rota commitments)

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic pharmacy technician to join the established HEPMA pharmacy team. As part of a supportive team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, analysts and nurse, you will play an integral role in the maintenance of the HEPMA system, support future training of ward staff during further system implementation and assist in benefits realisation projects. The post will be based at the team’s Royal Edinburgh Hospital office with opportunity for hybrid working and a sessional commitment to maintain skills.
Candidates must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), have a Pharmacy Dispensary Checking Technician (PDCT) National Qualification or equivalent, HNC in Pharmacy Services Development and Management or equivalent qualification or relevant experience will be considered. If the successful candidate does not hold the HNC or equivalent, they will be expected to engage in completing the appropriate post-registration qualification in post.
